Dental Implant surgery is an outpatient Procedure that replaces tooth root with metal screw like post that replaces damaged or missing teeth with artificial teeth that look and function much like real ones. Dental Implants are made of titanium, which fuses with jawbone, and it wont slip or make noise or cause bone damage.

Before we install implants, we will need to thoroughly examine your mouth and jaw to ensure you have enough bone tissue to support the implants. During the consultation, we will walk you through what you can expect from your implants, talk about healing time and care instructions, and answer any questions you might have. If you are a good candidate for dental implants, we will schedule an appointment to place the implants.

The Implants

Before installing your implants, we will administer some local anesthesia to prevent discomfort. Once the area is numb, we will start implantation. Each implant will be placed directly into your jaw bone. As you heal over the next few weeks, your bone tissue will integrate with the implants, stabilizing them and allowing them to mirror the function of your natural teeth’s roots.

The Artificial Teeth

Once your implants are fully healed, we will finish the installation process by covering the exposed pieces of the implants with individual crowns or a bridge of artificial teeth. Because the implants have healed into the jaw bone, your artificial teeth will have the stability you need to eat all sorts of food without losing teeth.
